Samantha Neeley, Lead Therapist

Sam earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2011 and spent over a decade working with children facing chronic illnesses, disabilities, and emotional challenges. She later completed her Master’s degree in 2023, where she founded Troy University PC’s chapter of Chi Sigma Iota and published research on co-occurring trauma and wellness. After interning at Florida Springs, Sam joined the team as an inpatient therapist, specializing in trauma-informed care for individuals with complex mental health and substance use issues. She is passionate about creating a collaborative, empowering therapy environment and loves helping organize monthly alumni events. Known for her compassion, humor, and dedication to ongoing learning, Sam feels right at home with the patients and staff at Florida Springs. When she’s not working, she enjoys finding “glimmer moments,” usually with her cats and a good TV show.
